About

Douglas Horn on the set of Back Up, Please.

I’ve been a film and video professional for over a decade. In that time I’ve worked on a lot of sets and written, directed, produced, and edited numerous projects. A small sampling of that content is available on this site.

I’ve written and directed two produced feature films, Entry Level and The No-Sit List which are currently in distribution. My short film Full Disclosure won numerous film festival awards and was the top-selling short film in the iTunes Store for several weeks. Many of my other short films have played in festivals, won awards, and found distribution as well. I have a number of projects in development as a writer and producer, and some of the scripts I’ve written for other companies are now winding their way into production as well. The nature of film development makes it difficult to discuss future projects in much detail, but I hope to make some mentions of these projects along the way.

My main thrust is on writing and directing narrative films. However, between feature projects, I often work writing, directing, and editing commercial and corporate video productions for leading companies and brands including Microsoft, Novartis, Genentech and others.

This site is powered by WordPress.  The theme is a customized version of Pixel a great free theme by samk.ca.  Some of the widgets I use are Configurable Tag Cloud, Fixed Social Buttons, Dave’s Whizmatronic Widgulating Calibrational Scribometer, and Easy Contact.  All videos are hosted by Vimeo because it’s the best. All videos are copyright Douglas Horn or their respective holders, in which case they are used by permission.
